Robotics Technician

Decades ago, robotics was science fiction, and any consideration of the types of jobs in robotics was a thing of the future. Fast forward to today and it is no longer science fiction, but rather science fact. Robotics is still somewhat a thing of the future, but it’s also very much a thing of the present with many job opportunities.  If you’re even remotely interested in this science, now is the time to get the training to enter this field.

There are several types of technicians. A robotics technician can repair and maintain robots and build robotic parts along with other tasks. An electromechanical technician works with the engineer in the design process of new robots.

The role of robotics technicians is to build, maintain, test and repair robotics. These professionals may also work with robotics-related automated production systems. They require a strong background in hardware, electronics, and circuitry.
