Eligibility
Students must be enrolled in a high school that partners with one of the Alamo Colleges OR is a high school-aged home school student.
AlamoCollegesNOW allows eligible high school students the opportunity to earn high school and college credit at the same time. Students who join the program enroll in a college course at one of the Alamo Colleges and receive simultaneous college credit, saving time, and money. In most cases, this program is at no or low-cost to the student.

What does AlamoCollegesNOW include? |
The Alamo Colleges District is committed to providing a high-quality education to our community, including programs for high school students to earn ‘dual credit’ for both high school- and college-level credentials. There are multiple dual credit programs for students to choose from:
Traditional Dual Credit Program — Traditional Dual Credit high school students earn both college and high school credit for college courses completed through one of our five Alamo Colleges. Dual credit courses include both academic and technical courses.
If a student qualifies for Dual Credit (Program), they may take courses in the 42-hour core curriculum listing or from the Professional and Technical Education (PTE) programs. Courses taken should be aligned with your degree plan or career choice.
Early College High School (ECHS) and Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) — Students receive a high school diploma and the opportunity to earn an associate, certification, or up to 60 college-credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree.
Alamo Academies — Students are exposed to STEM careers and earn college credits and certifications in programs driven by industry and high-demand career pathways through a hands-on curriculum. We have programs specializing in advanced manufacturing and technology, aerospace, diesel technology, health professions, and information technology and security.

Complete two AlamoENROLL modules in ACES: GoFAARR and Test Preparation.
Coordinate with your high school counselor on TSI test dates and testing requirements.
