As a subset of advising, Career Services at St. Philip’s College provides our diverse student population with career development and career planning guidance to help increase their employability in the global economy by providing comprehensive resources, fostering engagement opportunities with employers, and providing student-centric programming and services that are conducive to the Alamo Advise Model, Alamo Institutes, and industry demand.

Whether this is your first semester or graduation is just around the corner, Career Services has the resources and network to help you explore and develop your career goals. Through self-assessment and career exploration, you will be able to ensure that the Alamo Institute you selected upon enrollment is a great fit for your career and educational needs. Through workshops, career fairs and employer panel events, you will gain insight into what employers are looking for in top candidates.  Participation in Career Services events will allow you to establish a professional network with employers and improve your overall marketability.

  • Jobs based on “commission only” pay.
  • Jobs that require the purchase of products contingent upon employment.
  • Multi-level Marketing employment.
  • Employment through a staffing agency that does not disclose client.

Jobs that require a fee for recruitment and/or employment.
