Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I register for this course?

Register for this course through ACES the same way you register for your other courses.

I’m a dual credit student. Do I also register for the course through ACES?

The high school campus liaison or math faculty will inform the NVC High School Programs office who will then register you for the course.

If I do not meet my TSI score goal, after having taken this TSI Bootcamp, can I re-enroll in the bootcamp again?

Yes. You may be eligible to re-enroll in the TSI Bootcamp again at the discretion of the math faculty.

Am I eligible to take the bootcamp if my TSI scores are from 1 or more years ago?

Yes.

Are all the TSI Boot Camp classes at Northwest Vista College or are any offered at the High Schools?

As of now, all classes will be held at Northwest Vista College.

Are all the TSI Boot Camp classes face-to-face or are there any Zoom or online classes?

As of now, all classes will be held face-to-face.

How long are the classes?

The classes are two weeks long for a total of 16 hours. Some sessions will meet twice a week for 4 hours a day for two weeks. Some classes will meet two hours a day for four days a week for two weeks.

I want to improve my TSI score, but can’t attend the boot camp. Are there other resources available to help me?
