“A Season of Promise”

Like its namesake, Alamo Colleges District has their own inspirational impact on society.

From our very beginning through decades of change and expansion, we have worked to make higher education accessible and affordable for all. Today, all five colleges fulfill this promise with a vast array of certificates, 2-year degrees and credits that transfer to four-year universities.

This year we are launching AlamoPROMISE.  The AlamoPROMISE program makes college more accessible to graduating Bexar County seniors by providing the tuition-free access to earn a certificate or associate's degree at one of the five Alamo Colleges.  It’s one of several programs to provide economic and social mobility to our community.

We pride ourselves in providing hope for all students– and a promise for a better education, the promise of a better life and a brighter future.

This holiday card contest should highlight that promise, whether through showcasing our student advocacy centers to inspire the spirit of giving or by shedding light on some of the many ways the Alamo Colleges District gives hope to students through education that leads to opportunity.

Allow the theme to inspire creativity.
