Three Alamo Colleges Rank In The Top 100 Community Colleges For Hispanics

San Antonio College, Northwest Vista College and Palo Alto College are all ranked in the 2019 Top 100 Community Colleges in the Nation for Hispanics by Hispanic Outlook magazine.

Up three spots from last year, SAC ranks No. 5 in the nation for the number of Hispanic graduates, with NVC at No. 9 and PAC at No. 38. SAC is also ranked as No. 20 for Hispanic enrollment, with NVC at No. 23 and PAC at No. 49. The rankings are based on several factors, including:

• Percentage of Hispanics in attendance
• Total student enrollment
• Two-year colleges awarding the most associate degrees to Hispanics

• Percentage of Hispanics awarded associate degrees by two-year colleges

All of the five Alamo Colleges District colleges are designated as Hispanic-serving institutions, and overall the district's enrollment is 62% Hispanic.
