On-site health services now available
May 20, 2021
The Alamo Colleges District and UT Health San Antonio’s Wellness 360 clinic are expanding student health care services to both telehealth and on-site clinic visits.
The new on-site clinics are located at Palo Alto College and San Antonio College, and they are open to students attending any of the Alamo Colleges. Appointments must be scheduled by calling 210-485-0571. The clinics are not accepting walk-ins, but same-day appointments are often available.
Wellness 360 provides low-cost primary health care to all Alamo Colleges students including treatments for:
- Minor acute care (such as cold, headache, sore throat, earache, etc.)
- Routine health assessment
- Nutrition counseling
- Prescription and non-prescription medications
- Women's health
- Referrals for more serious medical issues
Telehealth and on-site services are available to students 18 years and older attending any of the Alamo Colleges. Over the summer months, students are eligible if they are taking Summer courses or if they are registered for Fall 2021. To verify eligibility, students should have their Banner ID ready when calling to make an appointment.
The Alamo Colleges will provide this service both to students with insurance and those who are uninsured. The Alamo Colleges is committed to working with students who may have a financial barrier limiting their access to medical care. Students must first call 210-485-0571 to set up their appointment and financial assistance may be available.
