Alamo Colleges Offers Summer Fun for Employees, Students, Families

With summer just around the corner, the Alamo Colleges is offering students and employees in-person and virtual resources that everyone in the family can enjoy.
Summer ProgramsThese include free virtual summer camps live via video conferencing and others that can be streamed anytime. Visit the individual college web pages for details and age-specific requirements. Registration is required for some sessions.

Free Art Supplies for KidsThrough a partnership with SAY Sí, free art supply bags will be available for curbside pickup for parents with elementary and middle-school-aged children at the District Support Operations Building, 2222 N. Alamo St., on Friday, June 4, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit two bags per car while supplies last. |

3 for Free Museum AdmissionsThe Alamo Colleges District is partnering with local museums to provide free admission and other benefits for students and employees. Participating museums include the McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Museum of Art and the Witte Museum. You must present your Alamo Colleges ID in order to claim 3 For Free benefits. All museums are on VIA bus routes, so free transportation is available through your VIA goMobile mobile pass.

Zoo DiscountThe Alamo Colleges District is also partnering with the San Antonio Zoo to provide discounts on admission and annual passes to students and employees. Find your discount code in an email sent to all students and employees on May 21 with the subject line, “Summer Fun for the Whole Family.” |
