My passions include social justice activism and creating educational equity and access for first-generation and Students of Color. I am also a lecturer at UTSA in the Department of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

Bio:

Hello, I have been an EDUC/SDEV faculty member at Northwest Vista College since 2015. My background is in the field of education and social and cultural studies. I have mentored and taught in various capacities since 2003 in Texas and California, primarily in college prep programs and higher education. My passions include social justice activism and creating educational equity and access for first-generation and Students of Color. I am also a lecturer at UTSA in the Department of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
