Bio:
I love teaching English Composition and Literature courses to our Northwest Vista College students, always keeping an eye out for how rhetoric and critical thinking affect the choices we make when presenting our thoughts in writing. Nowadays I might teach Creative Writing, Freshman Composition I and II, and British, American, or World Literature courses (parts I & II)--with online versions to boot. I have experience writing & reciting poetry, and sharing my work with other poets in workshop settings. A member of the Macondo Writers Workshop, I performed at events such as the San Antonio Poetry Festival and Luminaria. My poems have appeared in The Texas Observer and the anthology of Texas poets Is This Forever or What? edited by Naomi Shihab Nye, See you soon!
