Registration now open for remote learning

Palo Alto College and the Alamo Colleges District is now enrolling students for Summer and Fall 2020 sessions.

Out of an abundance of caution, Palo Alto College and the entire Alamo Colleges District have made some temporary changes to the way we provide instruction and operate in light of the concerns related to the coronavirus. As such, all Summer sessions and most Fall sessions will be delivered through remote teaching and learning.

What is remote learning?

Remote learning occurs when the learner and instructor cannot meet in a traditional classroom setting. Although it takes place online, remote learning is different from online learning. Remote learning strives to re-create the classroom environment as the student learns through the computer. This means the student logs in to the virtual classroom environment at scheduled times to view lectures or participate in group learning activities.
