AlamoPROMISE — Important Update

We understand the ongoing pandemic environment and recent winter storm circumstances present unforeseen challenges for many students and families. In response to the needs of our community, we are extending the AlamoPROMISE Program Cohort 2 deadlines and are providing more time for students to become AlamoPROMISE Scholars. All AlamoPROMISE Eligibility Milestones (Save Your Seat, Apply Texas Application, and the Financial Aid Application) are due March 26, 2021.

Save Your Seat Now

Are you in the senior class of 2021 and graduating from a participating high school?

Update: We are still accepting pledge submissions through March 26, 2021.

What is AlamoPROMISE?

AlamoPROMISE makes college more accessible to graduating seniors by providing the support necessary to earn a certificate or associate’s degree at one of the five Alamo Colleges: Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, San Antonio College, and St. Philip’s College.

It ensures that tuition and fees at the Alamo Colleges are covered for students who graduate from participating high schools.

Through AlamoPROMISE, scholars who meet the eligibility criteria will receive a "last-dollar" scholarship for up to three years or the completion of an associate's degree or certificate, whichever comes first. The "last-dollar" scholarship funds the cost of tuition and required fees that your financial aid award does not cover. Your household income does not disqualify you and there is no minimum academic requirement to be considered for admission.

Because we understand plans sometimes change, you are not locked into a commitment when you pledge to Save Your Seat.
