Academic Success Student Workshops

Small group workshops are scheduled each month during the semester.  For those who cannot make it to one of the scheduled workshops, appointments for a one-on-one workshop with a tutor can be made by submitting a request to sac-tutoring@alamo.edu.  Please indicate which workshop you are interested in and at what time you would be available.  Our remote staff will check to see if any of our tutors are free at the requested time.

Since all of our staff is working remotely, the workshops will be conducted using Zoom.

Topics covered

The S.L.A.C. offers a variety of workshops to help students succeed -- APA & MLA formatting, Study Skills, Note Taking, Test Taking, Time & Stress Management just to name a few.  We are always looking to add new workshops to the list.  If there is a topic you would like to see covered, please email us at sac-tutoring@alamo.edu and we can look into having our tutors develop a workshop to address the topic.
