What is the Emergency Management/Homeland Security program?
The Emergency Management/Homeland Security Administration Degree is designed to prepare the student for a career in disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.

The Emergency Management and Homeland Security Administration Degree was the first degree of its kind in the state of Texas. It focuses on an all-hazards approach to disasters. Emergency Management and Homeland Security is one of the fastest growing career fields.
What will I learn?
The student will receive course study in risk management and prioritization, multi-agency coordination, disaster planning, terrorist threat analysis, and terrorist ability and willingness to acquire and use weapons of mass destruction.

SAC enrollment process allows steps to be completed remotely by students. Please follow the 1,2,3 Steps.
The center provides assistance with the following:
- Apply Texas application for admission
- Completion of the SAC enrollment steps and AlamoEnroll modules
- Submission of official transcripts, Bacterial Meningitis, and other important documents
- New Student Orientation Sign-Up
- New student orientation is mandatory for all student entering SAC for the first time.
- Enrollment Coach assistance
