The Emergency Management/Homeland Security Administration Degree is designed to prepare the student for a career in disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.

What will I learn?

The student will receive course study in risk management and prioritization, multi-agency coordination, disaster planning, terrorist threat analysis, and terrorist ability and willingness to acquire and use weapons of mass destruction. The Emergency Management /Homeland Security program has a 2 + 2 agreement with West Texas A&M. After achieving an AAS degree from SAC, the student may continue to work toward a bachelor degree from West Texas A&M.
