Women Warriors Writing Workshop
Because you have a story…a story that matters
Monday, June 10
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
SAC Victory Center

San Antonio, Texas 78212
10 a.m. Morning Session – Led by Tracy Crow, president of MilSpeak, Marine Corps veteran, and former professor of journalism and creative writing. Crow will help first-time attendees of an On Point workshop on how to identify the stories of their lives and how to develop them for the page. Session be followed by a lunch at noon.
1 p.m. Afternoon Session – Tracy Crow will open the afternoon session to attendees who participated in the morning session as well as those who attended the 2018 On Point Women Warriors workshop. In this slightly more advanced workshop, Crow will show how writers can often find their most compelling stories through works of art, such as paintings, sculptures, and photographs. People who attend this session are encouraged to bring a photograph of an artwork or a family photo to use for inspiration.
