SAC Announces Update for COVID-19 Testing on Campus
January 4, 2022
Starting Monday, Jan. 10, COVID-19 testing will take place at the Visual Arts Center (VAC) Room 120. VAC is located at the corner of Lewis St. and W. Dewey Pl. Testing will no longer be available in the Moody Learning Center.
Testing involves a self-administered nose swab to determine if an individual has the virus. It will be available at the following days and times:
- Mondays 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesdays 8 a.m. - noon
- Thursdays 1:30 - 7 p.m.
- Fridays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Note: COVID-19 testing will not be available on Monday, Jan. 17, due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION
COVID-19 testing is mandatory for employees and voluntary for students. The free test is administered by Community Labs. No insurance is required to take the test.
If you have not taken the test at SAC before, you are encouraged to pre-register at https://register.communitylabstesting.org/register to save time, but walk-ins are accepted during operating hours.
COVID-19 testing is for individuals without symptoms. If you have any symptoms that could indicate COVID-19, please do not come to campus.
Testing is painless and takes about a minute to complete. Results are typically available in 24 hours. You will receive an email and/or text message notifying you when you can view your results by logging into your account.
