We know that your education is a top priority in your life and this week is a celebration of your commitment to completing your education. We have a week full of fun and helpful workshops designed to help you get to the finish line.

Clothing Closet

October 24 - 27, 2022 - 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in SLC 110

The clothing closet will be open to serve any students, faculty, or staff in need of clothing. Clothes for all genders, sizes, and ages will be available. There will also be limited shoes and accessories.

Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach and Texas Veterans Commission

If you are a community member, veteran, dependent, or active duty and you need any assistance in transitioning or additional resources while you are out to include disability claims, legal services or workforce engagement come to learn about resources from our Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach and Transition Center and Texas Veterans Commission.


United Way

Women United: Are you a student that needs help with childcare? Are you enrolled in at least 6 semester hours, have a 2.5 GPA, working part-time? Come out and speak with the Childcare Scholarship coordinator from United Way to learn more about the Women’s United Childcare Scholarship!

Dual Generation: Are you ready to go back to school? Or learn a new trade? Do you have a child between the ages of 0-10? Will you be needing assistance with childcare? If so, visit Dual Generation.

Test Your Way Out of Intro Courses

October 27, 2022 - 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the Welcome Center 207B

The Testing Center staff will be able to provide information on CLEP services. CLEP exams let you test out of introductory courses and move to more advanced courses sooner, saving time toward your degree. We will provide information from Modern States, which helps students prepare for the CLEP as well as provide financial resources to help pay for the exam.

TNT Open House
