Nursing Education
St. Philip's College (SPC) has been providing the community with well-prepared nurses for over 75 years. The nursing program enrolls around 100 students each semester, and graduates fill nursing positions throughout the city's healthcare facilities. The Texas Board of Nursing recently approved the A.A.S Generic Track Program at SPC to help address the nursing shortage. The Department of Nursing Education at SPC prepares professional nurses who provide safe, patient-centered care. The A.A.S. program has two tracks, the Generic track and the LVN/Military to ADN Mobility track.
