St. Philip’s College promotes resiliency with a variety of services that support physical wellbeing, emotional health, and academic problem-solving.
Counseling ServicesMental health counseling helps students navigate issues that interfere with their academic success or personal well-being. SafeSPACEThis office provides ongoing support as well as emergency aid and access to community resources. Academic AdvisingEach SPC student is assigned a Certified Advisor who assists them with class scheduling and preparing to graduate and transfer. Disability ServicesStudents who have learning, physical or psychological disabilities can contact this office to discuss reasonable academic accommodations to ensure access to learning. Student LifeStudents can find their passion through a student organization or by participating in a campus event. Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach Transitional Center (GSVOTC)This center can make referrals for all active duty, transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard, Reservists, and their family members. |
Financial LiteracyStudents learn about the appropriate use of budgeting, funds management, and student loans. Tutoring CentersStudents can receive academic support from tutors and professors. Feed the TigerStudents can send a comment to College leadership about their concerns. Strategies of Behavior Intervention Incident Report (SOBI)Students can report behaviors that may be disruptive or distressing. Title IX (AlamoCARES)Students who believe they experienced sex discrimination, sexual harassment, or sexual violence are encouraged to connect with this office for support. |
