SPC Partners with VIA for Fare-Free Service to MLK March

St. Philip’s College is one of two pickup sites for participants in the annual MLK March on Jan. 16. Passengers may park their cars and access free VIA bus service to the march starting point from 8 to 10 a.m. on the MLK Campus at 1801 MLK Dr. in Lot 22 (Montana & Mittman St.) or at Freeman Coliseum at 3201 E. Houston St. in Lot 1.

The drop-off point for service to the March will be on MLK Drive, west of Upland Drive.

Return Service from the March: Buses will return passengers to the original pick-up locations from 12 to 3 p.m. Participants may access return service at Pittman-Sullivan Park, 1101 Iowa St. 

Drop-off and Pickup is on Nevada St. between S. Palmetto and St. Anthony avenues.
