Educators
AlamoPROMISE aims to reduce students' financial barriers to entering and completing a certificate or associate's degree program by providing last-dollar tuition funding that covers the gap between needs-based financial aid and the cost of tuition and mandatory fees for up to three years.
The Alamo Colleges District and its public and private sector partners are working together to provide the support students need to complete an education beyond high school while creating pathways to careers. AlamoPROMISE eliminates financial barriers to higher education, helping students complete college and obtain the necessary skills to hold high-wage, high-demand jobs.
You can assist by spreading the word about the AlamoPROMISE program. For Fall 2021, all seniors graduating from any one of the 25 participating high schools with their high school diploma are eligible for the last-dollar funding.
