Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts
The Department of Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts features programs in five primary occupational areas with dedicated full-time faculty members who work directly with students in each area.
All programs involve students in classroom-based learning experiences, as well as lab experience, and work-based learning during a practicum course. Department courses are offered during morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
We offer programs to prepare students for immediate entry into the hospitality labor force with marketable skills or to articulate with four-year college and university programs in the hospitality Applied Science Degree and Certificates of Completion. The Department presents the student with an education that provides entry-level skills and provides a foundation upon which career advancement can be based. Selected programs of study also have been reviewed and accredited by the American Culinary Federation Accrediting Commission.
