Student Laptop & Internet Hotspot Check-Out

Loaner laptop computers and internet hotspots are available for immediate check-out to assist students, while equipment last or is available. There are no costs involved in checking out the item(s).

 

Eligible students who are interested should contact SPC’s Information Technology Services at (210) 486-2777 or spc-helpdesk@alamo.edu for information on pick-up and the checkout process. Please review limitations and guidelines below before proceeding with the request. Only one laptop and one hotspot may be checked out at a time. A limited number of equipment is available.

 

Limits and Guidelines

  • Student must be actively enrolled at St. Philip’s college ***
  • St. Philip’s college must be your home campus***
  • Laptops and hotspots should be used for educational purposes only
  • Eligible student may check-out only one laptop and one hotspot at a time
  • Students may not alter, delete, copy, tamper with any software loaded on the laptop or otherwise change its existing configuration
  • St. Philip’s College is not responsible for damage to an external device (i.e. a flash drive or other external device) or for the loss of data that may occur while the laptop is in use
  • Technical Support and Software Application questions may be directed to SPC’s Information Technology Services at 210-486-2777
