Virtual Welcome Center

The SPC Virtual Welcome Center is a location for students to be served via ZOOM. The Virtual Welcome Center is available for a one stop center on Wednesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. as well as the first Saturday of every month in Spring 2021 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the exception of April 2021.  The Virtual Welcome Center will be available on April 10, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. due to a holiday the first Saturday in April. (Pre-registration is required) Register at ZOOM ID 947 879 15792 for access to the Virtual Welcome Center. 

Please have your Student Banner ID and picture ID ready to provide for security purposes. Please be patient as this Virtual Welcome Center serves all students individually through break out rooms.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Certified Advisors are committed to helping students be successful by providing quality service, support, and encouragement to you on campus in the Welcome Center at our MLK Campus or in B172 at our Southwest Campus.

Hours Effective January 29, 2024:

Monday:  8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday:  8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday:  8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday:  8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
First Saturday of each month: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

REMOTE ADVISING SERVICES:

Advisors are available for current students online via Zoom Monday-Thursday from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. You can register to access the Zoom online here. For new or returning students, remote advising is available by request via email at spc-advising@alamo.edu. Emails must include your Student Banner ID and be sent using your Student ACES email account.
