Bae-B-Safe Peer Ambassador Program

The BAE-B-SAFE peer ambassador's goal is to raise awareness among community college students about disproportionately high infant mortality rates among racial and ethnic minorities. In addition, the Peer Ambassadors program will support the increase of college completion by reducing unplanned pregnancies, STIs, and HIV, and by linking students to preventive healthcare services to protect their futures.

Peer ambassadors will work with health educators to lead events, presentations, and programs, and attend training, and workshops to increase their knowledge and confidence to conduct outreach amongst their peers on the St. Philip's campus.
