Celebrating Black History Month at ACD

The Alamo Colleges District is active as an advocate and champion for our communities of color. Our colleges are Hispanic Serving Institutions IHSI) and St. Philip's College is the nation's only HSI and Historically Black College and University IHBCU). We are proud to share that the graduation rate for our full-time African American students has increased in each of the last four years.

Across our five colleges, we affirm and work to create a sense of belonging for all members of the Alamo family. We honor Black history makers from the Alamo Colleges District and help prepare Black history makers in the making, Together. we are empowering our diverse communities for success.
