Dr. Naydeen González-De Jesús, President of San Antonio College (SAC), will transition to a new role within the Alamo Colleges District as the Presidential Project Executive.
In this capacity, Dr. González-De Jesús will be focusing on district-wide initiatives to address the needs of target populations within our colleges and communities, including expanding services for incarcerated individuals, enhancing resources for bilingual and Spanish-speaking families, and identifying partnership opportunities in support of district-wide initiatives. She will commence her new role at ACCESS starting Monday, March 18, 2024.
Dr. González-De Jesús shared, "It has been a pleasure to serve the SAC community. I am excited about working alongside Chancellor Dr. Flores, whose support has been invaluable to our collective success."
We are welcoming back Dr. Francisco Solis to San Antonio College after his retirement in 2023. Dr. Solis will be serving as the Interim President of SAC. Most recently, Dr. Solis held the Interim Vice President for Academic Success position at SAC. His previous service includes 23 years of experience in teaching and leadership roles at SAC, including a prior role as Interim President. Dr. Solis assumes his role effective immediately.
