ACD Introduces AlamoU Bachelor’s Programs

The Alamo Colleges District is pleased to announce AlamoU Bachelor’s Programs across all of its five colleges: San Antonio College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip’s College, Northwest Vista College, and an upcoming degree program at Northeast Lakeview College.

AlamoU Bachelor’s Programs is a strategic response to the burgeoning demands of various industries, particularly in nursing, operations management, cybersecurity and cloud computing.

Recognizing the evolving landscape of workforce requirements across the community, the Alamo Colleges District have taken proactive steps to equip students with the necessary skills to excel in high-wage, high-demand fields with an affordable tuition. Students who are interested in pursuing AlamoU Bachelor’s Programs will experience a seamless, cost-efficient transition into a four-year degree with no loss of credit.

"These new programs advance our district’s moonshot by providing our students with relevant, workforce-focused education that aligns with industry needs," said Dr. Mike Flores, Alamo Colleges District Chancellor.

Northeast Lakeview College is developing a fifth bachelor's degree program, further expanding the range of options available to students seeking higher education in high-wage, high-demand fields.
