Dual Credit Home School

Dual credit is available for eligible homeschooled students in the Alamo Colleges District service area. Students can take courses at PAC either in person or online through the distance learning program.

Dual Credit Home School Enrollment Process:

  1. Complete the ApplyTexas application online
  2. Submit official high school transcript (must be notarized for Home School Students)
  3. If applicable, submit official test scores (ACT, SAT, TSI)
  4. Complete AlamoEnroll Module via ACES
    1. Test Prep module (must complete before taking the TSI Assessment).
  5. Complete TSI test
    1. Schedule TSI test with PAC Testing Center
    2. Texas law requires students to complete reading, writing, and mathematics assessments before enrolling in college. The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) mandates that any new undergraduate student entering a public institution must be assessed for readiness to enroll in college coursework.
  6. Submit proof of bacterial meningitis vaccination through ACES
  7. Review the Dual Credit Home School Checklist for full enrollment details and resources to guide you through the process.
  8. Please contact the Home School Dual Credit Liaison upon completion of all enrollment steps or if you are needing assistance in completing the enrollment process.

  11. Student registration will be processed by the Dual Credit Home School Liaison once all steps have been reviewed and met.
