Get free tax help on campus with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program offering free tax assistance services for individuals and families who earn up to $55,000 annually.

VITA maximizes tax credits and keeps more dollars in households for essential needs such as groceries. Last year, VITA saved participants $5 million in tax preparation fees and brought $36,319,972 in refund dollars to the local economy.

In the spirit of community health and safety, the VITA San Antonio Coalition is supporting the preparation of tax returns by offering drop-off services. Staff will prepare taxes using social distancing.

For more information or to find additional VITA sites and their business hours, tax filers can visit vitasa.org or the United Way Helpline at 2–1–1.
