The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have designated St. Philip's College as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education- 2 years. The designation covers the academic years 2022 through 2027. For more information about CAE Community visit, https://caecommunity.org/.
The purpose of the National CAE designation program is to promote higher education in cybersecurity/Information Assurance and prepare a growing number of professionals to meet the need to reduce vulnerabilities in the Nation’s networks. The initial National CAE in CD Education (CAE/IAE) program was started by NSA in 1998, with DHS joining as a partner in 2004 in response to the President’s National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace.
Military City USAThe GenCyber program provides summer cybersecurity camp experiences for students and teachers at the K-12 level. The goals of the program are to help all students understand correct and safe on-line behavior, increase interest in cybersecurity and careers in the cybersecurity workforce of the Nation, and improve teaching methods for delivering cybersecurity content in K-12 computer science curricula. |
Join our Cyber Tigers Student Club!The Cyber Tigers of St. Philips College are a group of students who are interested in all things technology. The Cyber Tigers complement their studies of networking, Microsoft applications, Linux, and security to form a unique club that helps channel school work into real work scenarios and experiences. |
