    • The Alamo Colleges District is now partnered with TimelyCare to deliver a new virtual health and well-being platform for students. Through either a mobile app or your desktop, TimelyCare provides 24/7 access to virtual care from anywhere in the United States at no cost. Whether you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed, you can talk to a licensed provider to get the care you need via phone or secure video visits.

      To get started, visit timelycare.com/alamo or download the TimelyCare app from your app store. Enter your student email, and you'll be redirected to ACES to login.

    • Plain China - the National Anthology of the Best Undergraduate Writing is an online anthology of the best undergraduate writing and the first of its kind on a national level. Each semester, they find the best undergraduate fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and art out of students, to create a collective narrative reflective of and relevant to the undergraduate writing experience.

    • The Sigma Pi Chi Chapter of the Lambda Nu Honor Society at St. Philip’s College has selected 22 new students for induction. Lambda Nu (LN) is the only national honor society for recognizing exceptional students enrolled in an imaging science program. To be selected, students must have 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, completed a full semester of their radiologic or imaging science program, demonstrated professional commitment to their field, and received a faculty recommendation.       2024-2025 SEG Applications are now being accepted! All applications must be submitted no later than April 24, 204 for review.

    • Congratulations to the St. Philip’s College Health Information Technology Program Director, Beatrice Avila for her appointment as the President for the Texas Health Information Management Association.

      The Texas Health Information Management Association (TxHIMA) is a component state association of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

      AHIMA is the premier association of health information management (HIM) professionals worldwide, serving 52 affiliated component state associations and more than 103,000 health information professionals.

    • The SPC Marketing & Strategic Communications Department is no longer using the old project management system in the FootPrints Legacy portal. All current projects will automatically be carried over. Please submit your requests through our Marketing Request Form.
