Electrocardiography (EKG) Technician
What is the Electrocardiography (EKG) Technician program?Prepare for the Certified EKG Technician (CET). Students will learn to operate as Certified Cardiographic Technicians. Cardiographic technicians are part of medical care teams that diagnose and/or treat patients with heart conditions and may perform electrocardiography (EKG) tests, create sonographic images, install catheters, help with surgery, assist physicians in diagnosis, and treatment.
