About Kaitlyn Holmes

My name is Kaitlyn Holmes and I am an adjunct faculty member at NLC. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University at Alexandria in 2020. I received my Master's Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2022. My passion and research background lie in aiding victims and survivors of crime, advocating for survivors, and focusing on prison reform and rehabilitation. On some weekends, you can find me in my salon because I am a licensed cosmetologist! I have had my cosmetology license for 12 years now!

During my free time, I spend time with my daughter and many animals, reading, being a "foodie" with my other half, and watching anything horror-related, documentaries, or true crime(big surprise, right).
