About Tony Lack

Hello, I’m Tony Lack, Associate Professor of Humanities at Northeast Lakeview College. I am a US Army Veteran (Infantry). I received my Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1999. I’ve been at NLC since 2015. Before coming to San Antonio I lived in Soldotna, Alaska while teaching at the University of Alaska. 

My interests have always been fairly broad, which is another way of saying I couldn’t decide exactly WHAT to focus on, so I teach Humanities, which is a combination of philosophy, history, religion, literature, and the arts. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, getting outdoors, especially in the mountains and exercising. I look forward to getting to know more about you and your interests.
