About Reda Berry
Reda Berry is an adjunct math professor(which means “part-time”) at NLC since 2012. She is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She joined the United States Air Force straight out of high school and retired after 21 years. While on active duty, she attended night classes and earned a bachelor’s degree in management studies, from the University of Maryland (European Division) and a master’s degree in Purchasing and Acquisitions from Webster University. She is a first-generation college graduate. She taught General Education Degree (GED) classes for 10 years and discovered she loved teaching math. She then went back to college and earned 24 undergraduate and 18 graduate hours in math, which prepared her to teach college-level math. She is involved with the young adult ministry at her church and loves to exercise, kayak, and play pickleball.
