What can I do with this course of study?

Students planning to transfer to a university and further their study of anthropology should prepare themselves with complementary courses. Anthropology is not intended to be a training program, since professional anthropologists draw their experiences from a variety of academic backgrounds and personal experiences. Anthropologists excel at integrating complex ideas about what it means to be human; they stimulate critical thinking about the human condition; and they encourage scholarly discourse among the variety of paradigms, challenging each other in the continuing search for scientific knowledge.

 What’s special about Anthropology?

Anthropology is a fascinating and enlightening subject, the study of which can give a greater understanding of humanity as well as history and cultural diversity. Understanding the origin and history of human beings is important to also understand global cultures and communities.
