Yes. This mandatory session must be completed prior to course registration. All first time in college, former dual credit, and transfer students with less than 15 credit hours must attend New Student Orientation. Parents are also welcome to attend. Visit www.alamo.edu/nlc/NSO to sign up for an orientation session.

Our Orientation staff will introduce you to important resources and services that will help you be successful at NLC.
Register for Classes
Advisors will assist you with registering online during your group advising session. Bacterial Meningitis vaccination documentation must be uploaded through ACES a minimum of 2 business days prior to your advising session to register. (Due to third-party processing, there may be registration delays if not submitted more than two days before session).
Pay Tuition and Fees
You will be assisted in setting up payment for registered courses. Tuition payment must be made with credit card or check online via your ACES account (Cash only at Bursar’s Office). Payment in full or by installments must be made by the payment deadlines or you will be dropped from your classes.
