Black History Month at NLC

Northeast Lakeview College celebrates Black History Month every February with an array of exciting events and activities. The college's annual festivities include a music series, an HBCU fair, performances by local musicians, discussions about the African American experience, a special Crown Act Presentation, and much more. Through these activities, Northeast Lakeview College provides students, faculty, and staff with an opportunity to learn about the rich history and culture of African Americans. It is also an excellent way for the community to come together and recognize the accomplishments of African-Americans.
