Northeast Lakeview College Hosts Open House at its New Braunfels location

Northeast Lakeview College (NLC) hosted an Open House event on October 11 at its New Braunfels location (2193 FM 758). The come-and-go event provided an opportunity for the community, ISD partners, and officials to visit the New Braunfels location, tour the facility, and learn about current offerings, and future expanded plans for this site.
Northeast Lakeview College was selected as the lead college for this location in New Braunfels in April of 2023. Since then, and over the last few months, NLC has committed time, talent, and funding to upgrade and update the facility to ensure we are meeting the demands of the Seguin/New Braunfels and surrounding regions.
“We are excited to serve the New Braunfels and surrounding communities and provide direct service and educational impact to these citizens,” says Dr. Veronica Garcia, NLC president. “Currently, about 37% of our students come from Guadalupe or Comal county and look forward to meeting the education and workforce training demands of this region’s growing economy and workforce.”

Northeast Lakeview College has two locations. Its main campus at 1201 Kitty Hawk Rd in Universal City, TX serves about 8,200 students from Bexar, Comal, and Guadalupe Counties; and a New Braunfels location that offers basic core classes such as English, Math, Fine Arts, and Sciences and some workforce training.
