Bio:

Hello, all. I am originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Edinburg, Texas - or as I prefer to call it - The 956. I currently reside in Northwest San Antonio and have come to appreciate the sights and sounds of the area. I have taught reading and writing courses at the collegiate level going on eight years. Before that, I taught and coached at several age and skill levels. I am an avid sports fan and enjoy reading non-fiction literature. Currently, my primary focus in academia is to promote academic literacy and student advocacy.
