Bio:
Dr. Haetham is a professor who considers students' academic success and well-being as a priority. Haetham is a sociology faculty member at Northwest Vista College NVC since 2017. He taught as a sociology adjunct at Alamo Colleges between 2014-2017, and as a teaching assistant and lecturer at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) between 2015-2017. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Higher Education Leadership from Aspen University, a Doctorate Degree in Culture, Literacy, and Language from UTSA, a Master Degree in sociology from UTSA, a Bachelor Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas State University, and Associate Degree in EM and Homeland Security from San Antonio College. His research interest includes: Students' engagement, diversity and multiculturalism, factors influencing students' preparation and success, ,modalities of learning, and the integration of newcomers into the U.S school system.
