Changing the lives of our students by providing them with the resources they need to meet their basic needs so they are able to focus on academics, increasing student performance, retention, and graduation rates, contributing to a healthy, stable, and successful community. This may include but is not limited to financial relief, food assistance, and other support provided by the college, the Alamo Colleges District, and other local, state, and Federal agencies and organizations.

Every texter is connected with a Crisis Counselor, a real-life human being trained to bring texters from a hot moment to a cool calm through active listening and collaborative problem solving. All of Crisis Text Line's Crisis Counselors are volunteers, donating their time to helping people in crisis.
The City of San Antonio's Neighborhood and Housing Services Dept. is now accepting emergency rental, mortgage, and utility assistance referrals for individuals or families that require financial assistance during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Families can apply for rental, mortgage, and utility assistance online. The Fair Housing phone line, (210) 207-5910, is open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
