Black Jeopardy at NVC

The competition will be structured similarly to the iconic TV show game "Jeopardy!" Rules will be explained on the day of the competition. Invite a friend to sign up to compete against other teams. Teams in first, second and third place will receive monetary rewards applied to their student account that can help pay any balance and/or future fees and tuition.

Get Out: Film Discussion with Dr. Jasmine Harris

Join us for an academic discussion and viewing of the blockbuster hit movie Get Out (2017). From 12:30pm-1:30pm, Dr. Jasmine Harris—coordinator of the African American Studies program at UTSA—will be our guest speaker who will dedicate an hour to discuss her AAS program and the cultural significance of the film. Following her discussion, attendees will view the film and have an opportunity to continue the dialogue aft er it ends. The film itself is scheduled to be screened at 1:30pm.
