Marketing Council Honors NVC with National Award

Northwest Vista College (NVC) has received a 2022 Gold Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) at the council’s national conference, which ran March 30 to April 1 in Orlando, Florida.
The Gold Paragon award for NVC’s Microsite/landing page celebrates the college’s marketing team for its work on “Dream Big; You Belong at Vista” campaign. The judges’ comments focused on the site’s navigation and visuals:
“Wow! Great Visuals. Easy Navigation. Key data points shared in a clear way. Very well thought out and executed.”
The 2022 Paragon Awards competition drew 1,726 entries from 323 colleges across the country and was judged by more than 40 professionals from the marketing and public relations industry. NVC’s Marketing & Strategic Communications Team received one of the 47 Gold awards.
Northwest Vista College is one of five colleges within the Alamo Colleges District. The District Marketing & Strategic Communications Team received a Silver Paragon Award in the category of crisis communications/communication success story. Palo Alto College received a Silver Paragon Award in the social media category.

NCMPR’s Paragon Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges. It's the only national competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.

Northwest Vista College (NVC), part of the Alamo Colleges District, is federally designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), an institution of higher learning with a full-time equivalent undergraduate student enrollment that is at least 25% Hispanic.
