St. Philip's College among Best Colleges in Texas

Intelligent.com has recognized St. Philip’s College as #18 in its 2024 rankings of the top 50 community colleges in Texas. In this ranking, over 3,000 academic institutions are analyzed to select the most remarkable.

According to its website, Intelligent.com provides “unbiased research to help students make informed decisions about higher education programs. The website offers curated guides with the best degree programs and information about financial aid, internships, and study strategies. Intelligent.com is a trusted source among students and prospective students with comprehensive, user-friendly guides and hundreds of program rankings.”

St. Philip’s College received a 90.32 score on a 100 scale. This score is an evaluation that takes into consideration tuition costs, admission, retention and graduation rates, faculty, and reputation as well as the student resources provided for students.

This recognition arrives just as St. Philip’s College announces its first baccalaureate degree, the Bachelor of Applied Technology Degree in Cybersecurity.

All colleges on the list are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)with all five of the Alamo Colleges having earned a place in the rankings. Their rankings include No. 3 for Northwest Vista College, No. 12 for Palo Alto College, No. 27 for San Antonio College, and No. 40 for Northeast Lakeview College.
