Valentine’s Day Reading Attendance and Behavior Incentive

The 1^st and 2nd-grade classes at Candlewood E.S. participated in the spring 2020 Adopt-a-School Valentine’s Day Reading Attendance and Behavior Incentive.  Mrs. Bank’s 1st-grade class and Mrs. Kelly’s 2nd-grade class participated in this year’s event. Students in both classes received a visit from the Dean of Student Success, Julie Kirkland-Poirier, and members of the Student Success Team, Holly Brown, Leann Hernandez, Sara Leal, Estephani Rodriguez, and Nico! Dean Kirkland-Poirier and Leann Hernandez were the readers for this event.  After the readings, the student success team passed out cupcakes, drinks, and Valentine’s Day cards to each student.
