Why did you decide to pursue a career in higher education?
I was a career changer and worked for Pre-Trial Services with Bexar County for 8 years prior to my career in higher education. My decision to pursue a career in higher education was to make a positive impact in the community and promote higher education, especially to first-generation students and to the underserved community. I wanted to enlighten others on their potential and possibilities of pursuing and investing in their education to improve their quality of life.
