INRW Support Lab

Here you will find a place where students in Integrated Reading and Writing (INRW), ENGL 1301 Plus, and ENGL 1301 Mega Plus classes may work individually or in groups with the aid of a tutor. These classes require lab hours.

Online Tutoring (by AlamoNAVIGATE appointment only)

How to Book an Appointment in AlamoNAVIGATE

  1. Click Start Here in your ACES account
  2. Select Appointments and click on Schedule an Appointment
  3. For Appointment Types, select Tutoring
  4. Select Tutoring - NVC - English & Reading (CARES) -JH 216 for your ENGL classes
  5. Click Find Available Time and confirm appointment

Supplemental Instruction (S.I.) Session Information

We offer both virtual and in-person S.I. sessions. The online ones occur via Zoom and the in-person ones occur in RLC 205. S.I. sessions occur during the following days and times:

Monday: 4:30pm (Zoom) | 7:30pm (Zoom)

Tuesday: 12:00pm (Zoom) | 1:00pm (Zoom) | 4:00pm (Zoom)

Wednesday: 9:00am | 10:00am | 11:30am | 12:30pm | 2:00pm | 2:30pm | 3:00pm (Zoom) | 4:00pm | 5:00pm | 8:00pm

Thursday: 10:00am | 11:00am | 12:00pm (Zoom) | 1:00pm | 1:00pm (Zoom) | 5:00pm (Zoom)

Friday: No S.I. Sessions
