Friday, April 26, 2024 SAC Campus Closed for Fiesta Friday and the Fiesta Parades.
The Scobee Education Center will be closed with the SAC Campus on Friday, April 26th as SAC hosts the floats, bands and participants for the Fiesta Parades which originate at San Anotnio College. If you wish to have VIP seating for these parades, contact Eco Centro for more information.
Friday, May 17, 2024 Private Event: Planetarium Closed
On Friday, May 17th 2024, the Scobee Planetarium will be closed to the public for planetarium programming in order to host the Chet Hunt remembrance reception. This is a private invitation only event.
Suspension of June Summer Camp Programs
Due to changes in revenue requirements for our center, the June summer camp programs for Micronauts and Cosmic Kids will not rollout to the launch pad for 2024. We hope to be able to bring these successful programs back in the future.
The Artemis Academy Applications have closed for 2024.
Planetarium Announcements
Come on by Friday nights at 6 p.m. when the doors to the center open for public planetarium programs. Tickets are available online one week in advance and may be purchased through the Planetarium and Observatory link on this web site. Tickets are also available through the Lackey Camper-Casper Ticket Booth in the center after the doors open at 6 p.m.
